Refund & Returns Shipping Policy – Veritas Parfum

This document outlines the refund, return, and shipping terms applicable to purchases made from https://www.veritasparfum.com. By placing an order, you agree to the conditions below.

1. Returns (EU Consumers)
1.1. Consumers, as defined under Dutch and EU law, may return their purchase within 30 days of receiving the goods.
1.2. The return period expires 30 days after the day on which the goods are received by the consumer or a third party (excluding the carrier).
1.3. To initiate a return, send a clear statement to admin@veritasparfum.com including your order number.
1.4. Items must be returned within 14 days of submitting the return notice. Proof of dispatch within this period is sufficient.
1.5. Returned products must be unused, unopened, undamaged, and include all original packaging and any accessories.
1.6. Items that have been used, opened, or are not in a resaleable condition will not be accepted.
1.7. Return shipping costs will be covered by Veritas Parfum.

2. Refund Conditions

2.1. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items, subject to compliance with Section 1.5.
2.2. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
2.3. If the returned items do not meet the required conditions, we reserve the right to withhold part or all of the refund.
2.4. Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in the case of defective or incorrect goods.

3. Non-Conforming or Defective Goods

3.1. Our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Dutch and EU consumer protection law.
3.2. Any issues must be reported within2 months of discovery.
3.3. If confirmed defective, you may be entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund.
3.4. The legal guarantee does not apply in cases of misuse, improper handling, or damage due to normal wear and tear.

4. Damaged Goods on Delivery

4.1. Customers are advised to inspect parcels immediately upon receipt. Any damage, defects or missing items must be reported to Veritas within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence. 

4.2. Timely notification facilitates efficient processing of claims and resolution of issues. 

4.3. Reports should be submitted by email to admin@veritasparfum.com, including order details and supporting documentation.

5.2. Returns must be sent via trackable shipping. We are not responsible for loss or damage during return transit.
5.3. Customers should retain proof of dispatch until the return process is confirmed complete.

6. Shipping Policy

6.1. Shipping Costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and weight. The displayed amount is final and includes packaging and handling.

6.2. Orders placed before 12:00 PM (Mon–Fri) are shipped the same business day. Orders after the cut-off ship the next business day.

6.3. Delivery Timeframes

• Domestic (NL): 1–3 business days
• International (EU & Worldwide): 2–7 business days, courier-dependent

6.4. Tracking : All shipments include a tracking link sent via email upon dispatch.

6.5. Delivery Delays : Contact us if delivery exceeds the estimated timeframe.

6.6. Customs Duties & Taxes (International) : Any applicable import taxes or duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Refusal to pay may result in forfeit of the product and refund.

7. Non-Returnable Items

• Opened or used fragrances (unless defective)
• Gift cards and promotional items
• Products purchased from third-party retailers

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please initiate a return and place a new order.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch. Once shipped, our return policy applies.
